"Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise." —Victor Hugo. Photo notes: This photo was taken at Soudan-Vermilion State Park in October 2025. A large robin was snacking on this very tiny apple near the lakeshore. Because of the robin, I found a long abandoned, spindly apple tree!
